Warranty & Claims Policy

Effective Date: September 29, 2026

This Warranty & Claims Policy explains the general warranty and claims procedures for products supplied by Nanjing Leading Auto Technology Co., Ltd. (“Leading Auto”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This policy applies to B2B customers unless different warranty terms are specifically agreed in a quotation, proforma invoice, purchase order, sales contract or other written agreement.

1. Scope

Leading Auto supplies automotive engine parts and related components to distributors, importers, wholesalers, engine rebuilders, repair networks and other professional B2B customers.

Products may include:

  • Bare engines
  • Long blocks
  • Short blocks
  • Cylinder heads
  • Cylinder blocks
  • Crankshafts
  • Camshafts
  • Connecting rods
  • Turbochargers
  • Timing kits
  • Engine overhaul kits
  • Related engine components

Warranty terms may vary according to product type, order specification and agreed commercial terms.

2. Warranty Basis

Warranty coverage is based on the product being:

  • Correctly identified before order confirmation
  • Used for the intended application
  • Installed professionally
  • Operated under normal conditions
  • Properly maintained
  • Used with suitable lubricants, coolant and related components

Warranty coverage does not replace the customer’s responsibility to verify engine code, OE number, application and installation requirements before use.

3. Fitment Verification

Customers should provide accurate fitment information before ordering.

This may include:

  • Engine code
  • OE number
  • Vehicle model
  • Production year
  • VIN where applicable
  • Product photos
  • Existing part reference
  • Destination market

If incorrect or incomplete information is provided, warranty coverage may not apply to problems caused by incorrect fitment or application.

4. Inspection Upon Receipt

Customers should inspect products promptly after delivery.

Before installation, please check:

  • Packaging condition
  • Product model
  • Engine code
  • OE reference
  • Visible damage
  • Missing parts
  • Product configuration
  • Shipping damage

If visible damage, wrong items or missing quantities are found, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide supporting evidence.

Products should not be installed if there is an obvious mismatch or visible damage.

  • Cooling system condition
  • Oil pressure
  • Oil passages
  • Cooling passages
  • Timing system
  • Fuel system
  • Related engine components
  • Fastener torque requirements
  • Cleanliness of mating surfaces

Failure of surrounding systems may damage a newly installed engine component.

6. Warranty Exclusions

Warranty generally does not cover damage caused by:

  • Incorrect installation
  • Incorrect application
  • Wrong engine code or OE selection
  • Overheating
  • Lubrication failure
  • Oil starvation

  • Corrosion caused by unsuitable storage
  • Continued operation after a fault becomes apparent

Normal wear and consumable items may also be excluded unless otherwise agreed.

7. Bare Engines, Short Blocks and Long Blocks

For bare engines, short blocks and long blocks, the installer should confirm that all related systems are in proper condition before installation.

Special attention should be given to:

  • Oil pump
  • Oil passages
  • Cooling system
  • Timing components
  • Sensors
  • Fuel delivery
  • Intake and exhaust systems

Damage caused by failure of external components may not be covered.

8. Cylinder Heads

Before installing a cylinder head, please verify:
